Recommended dosage is 1/2 dropperful 3 times a day taken internally for treatment when irritation is present. Best taken on empty stomach.

Note: These drops are not eyedrops, and should be taken internally only, unless used with a compress. If used as a compress, here are the preparation instructions:

Boil 8 ounces of water. Add 1 dropper of EyeEase. Let the water cool down (this will evaporate the alcohol). Then dip a clean washcloth or compress into the solution and place over your closed eye(s) for 5 minutes, 2-3 times per day. If the condition persists, contact your eye doctor.

Herbs include Burdock, Chamomile, Chrysanthemum Flower, Eyebright, Echinacea Angustifolia, Forsythia, Golden Seal, Honeysuckle, Marigold and Red Raspberry Leaf.

Burdock root is traditionally known as tonic for the liver and cleanses the lymphatic system.

Forsythia (Forsythia suspensa), is recognized by traditional Chinese medicine to slow or halt viral and bacterial infections, including salmonella, staphylococcus, and streptococcus.

Goldenseal (Hydrastis canadensis), which treats inflammation, has powerful antibiotic and antiseptic capacity. is gaining popularity for its natural yet potent antibiotic and antiseptic qualities.

Echinacea (Echinacea Angustifolia) supports the immune system. Not only does it assist the body in fighting off disease, but itself has antiseptic and antibacterial capacity.

Honeysuckle (Lonicerae japonicae) has been found to reduce inflammation and infection, reducing stye swelling. It also is a natural antibiotic and has been found to reduce or halt viral and bacterial infections including salmonella, staphylococcus, streptococcus.

Chrysanthemum Flower (Chrysanthemum marifoli) is another natural antibiotic-like herb which reduces heat and inflammation - rendering it helpful for styes and conjunctivitis.

Eyebright (Euphrasia officinalis) has traditionally been known for centuries to support good eye health by reducing both internal and external inflammation.

Used as an external compress, Chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) effectively helps reduce conditions involving inflammation.

The herb Red Raspberry Leaf (Rubus idaeus) has astringent qualities that contribute to removing excess mucous in the eyes.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis), another effective anti-inflammation herb is useful in external compresses.
