L-Lysine 500mg 60 caps

Lysine has many biological functions, including: the synthesis of connective tissues such as bone, skin, collagen, and elastin; the synthesis of carnitine and the resultant conversion of fatty acids to energy; support for healthy growth and development in children; and maintenance of healthy immune function.*

As Lysine is not produced in the body, it needs to be derived from food sources such as meat, poultry and fish primarily. Vegetarians tend to be deficient in Lysine, so should take a lysine supplement.
