Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is one of the main precursors of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), an essential enzyme for various critical cell functions, including metabolism, DNA repair, cell growth and survival. This is triggered by a decrease in systemic NAD+ biosynthesis.
