N-Acetyl-l-Cysteine (NAC) is derived from the amino acid l-cysteine. It supports lung health by reducing and thinning mucus. Its antioxidant capacity makes it a powerful free radical scavenger and thus it supports the body's natural defense system by improving levels of glutathione in cell tissue. It also is known to have the capacity to reduce levels of heavy metals in the body through chelation.

Each vegetarian capsule contains 500 mg. n-acetyl-l-cysteine (free-form) and 10 mg. vitamin C (as ascorbyl palmitate) which assists in its absorption and efficacy.

Dose:
1-2 vegetarian capsules per day, in divided doses, between meals or as your medical or vision health provider recommends.
